Espumas has been opened since May 7, 2002. Making sure everything is just right is our top priority, from lighting level to music volume.

Espumas has an inviting atmosphere and the decor is eclectic. Espumas is Bohemian in nature. As you drive up, it is reminiscent of those quaint coffee/book houses one sees in large cities. It's outside decor invites you to come in and relax. As you walk inside, you are instantly taken aback by the multitude of paintings, books, magazines, tables and chairs. Rich colors adorn the walls, and art works by Laredo's own local talent are exhibited at Espumas.

Espumas is a place that was conceived after many years of traveling. People who appreciate good coffee, good food, good books and a great ambiance would most likely find this a wonderful haven. We even offer internet access. It's the place to go socialize with friends, read a book, get to know someone in a relaxed and comforting atmosphere.

We offer a variety of specialty coffees, from traditional American to espresso to lattes. All our coffees are Italian blends. And if you are hungry, all you have to do is browse through our menu, which is actually a little picture album where, in addition to menu items, pictures of customers embellish every other page.

We offer delicious soups, sandwiches and, if you are in the mood of something sweet, then our delicious pastries are in order.

To set the mood, Espumas' music ranges from jazz to classical. Every Wednesday and Saturday night is Open Mik Night. Whether you are a serious poet or musician, you will have the opportunity to showcase your talents.

Espumas is open Tuesday through Friday 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Saturdays from 7 p.m. to 12 midnight.
